Ocean is the Vice President of Power99DaMixx. He has over 14 years of experience in entertainment management and promotions. He founded Full Circle Enterprises where he also served as the President and CEO. Under this brand, he managed numerous artists and also provided countless consultations. He went on to launch a much larger brand, Ocean Management Group where he provides the same services along with OMG Studios where artists can receive management, studio time, and venue rental services. He later became a radio personality at WRUG radio before seizing a life changing opportunity to become a part of the Power99 family.

Dj Memphis
 Music Director


DJ Memphis was born and reared in Memphis, Tennessee. He works as the Music Director as Power99Damixx. One of his greatest accomplishments is becoming the official DJ for the recording artist Key Glock, a rapper signed to Young Dolph's label, Paper Route Empire. DJ Memphis began getting recognition when he worked as an upcoming DJ in the popular, but now closed gentlemen's club, Pure Passion. With recognition from his peers, he is now known as the Voice for the streets.

Born and reared in Memphis Tennessee, Jason Buford attended Whitehaven High school and Central High school before graduating from Hardin County High School in Savannah, TN, where he played basketball. After attending University of Memphis, Buford founded Jr Pro Sports in 2011, a sports management company that creates, manages, and organizes sporting events, teams, and training programs with the mission of  bringing athletic programs to children that inspires, develops, and encourage our kids in a positive, healthy, and uplifting environment. Jordan “Dj Stylz” Malone gets his name from the wide variety of musical stylings that are played as well as his stylized looks.
Jordan got his start at DJ’ing at the age of 13 when he began to DJ for his church for the youth and young adults. Before then he was already involved in music. He played guitar, piano, drums, trombone, and even sang in many notable choirs across the US.
Jordan is said to be influenced by the sounds of generations. He notes that Stevie Wonder, Quincy Jones, Timbaland, and even DJ Kool Herc (just to name a few) have played a part in influencing his sound. However, they only second to his Mom and Dad.

Tamika Heard

Tamika Tranell Heard is Social Entrepreneur,  Visionary, and Mentor.  She is also product of Memphis City Schools and a U of M Graduate . She joined the family business, Makeda's Cookies, in 2003 after a grant funded position in youth ministry ended.  She took on the role of Social Media Manager for the business.  She grew Makeda's Cookies social media presence and currently promotes their products,  events,  and community programs on several social media platforms. 

She began 901 Kidpreneurs in 2015. As a former youth minister,  she's passionate about the success of young people. She hosts quarterly Marketplaces for 901 Kidpreneurs at her family's Downtown Memphis location. 901 Kidpreneurs was the first project she began when they opened Makeda's Downtown. 

She also ignited Small Biz Saturday. She asked her parents to open their doors to other entrepreneurs in the community by offering their space to other small business owners who may need a brick and mortar to display and sell their products.  

Her latest project is Local VIBE$ Only where she plans to encourage the city of Memphis to bolster Black owned businesses.  She is passionate about education, entrepreneurship,  and our youth and everything she does will involve one or all of her three passions.  She uses her platform to educate,  motivate and innovate. She loves Memphis and she's committed to the people.  


Ladena Rubin is a native Memphian who strives to make a difference. On any given day of the week, you can find her on the sidelines screaming at of one of her five son's sporting events or pageant practice for her granddaughter. She is a diehard Kansas City Chiefs fan and has not missed a game in years.
By day, she is a recruiter, helping local Memphians obtain gainful employment and has always had a passion for helping people and hosting music events since 2012. Her ultimate goal is to have a platform to host events for local artists to perform safely.



Chazette Bleu

Radio Personality


Chazette, Mz Bleu if ya nasty, was born in May of 1989. She is from the small town of Tamms, IL. She moved to Memphis in 2019 seeking change and looking to share her vision. She is a poet, dancer, author, and mother of two beautiful children , Starde’ja and Chazarius, which she adores. She came to Power99DaMixx as a radio personality and has her show Midnight Stories which airs on Friday from midnight to 2am.

Fun Fact: I’m easy to get along with, and I love to just vibe. I’m honored to be a part of a radio station with amazing people with their own visions. I’m ready for the ride!

Angelica "Angel" Snell is a Native Memphian, a 2008 Memphis City Schools graduate of Kirby High School, the eldest of 3, and the mother of one, Andreux. She bleeds black and gold for the Pittsburgh Steelers and a lifelong fan of the Memphis Tigers. Angel started off in the entertainment industry as the Personal Assistant to the CEO of Drama Queen Entertainment. She now works as a radio personality at Power99Damixx where she has her own show, Roll Call, which airs Saturday and Sunday from 10am-2pm.

Jocelyn Meeks
Radio Personality

Jocelyn Meeks is a Memphis native born in 1988, single mother of two and entrepreneur. She is a new radio personality with  passion for speaking which began with her podcast and vlog for HIV/AIDS awareness and advocacy. One of her childhood dreams was to be a news anchor and coming to Power99DaMixx is giving her the opportunity to live that dream through radio. She loves all genres of music as grew up in a musical family, and played flute, oboe and English horn throughout her high school and college career. Jocelyn is ecstatic to be a member of the Power99 family.

Fun Fact: Jocelyn is a self taught nail technician and has a custom press-on nail business.


Warnett Nixox

Warnett Nixon aka The NettWorking Queen is originally from Jackson, TN but moved to Memphis in 2002. She is a Real Estate Broker/ Mentor, Insurance Producer & Notary.  She is an avid supporter of local and/or black-owned businesses. When not helping others build wealth and knowledge she likes to spend time with family, listen to music, travel, read & coupon.
